Why Mornings Matter: Finding Calm Amid...
The first moments of your day are precious. They shape your energy, mindset, and overall wellbeing,...
Our cacao is sustainably sourced from a handful of farming communities in regions like Satipo and Tarapoto, in Peru.
From seed to cup, we ensure our cacao positively impacts the lives of everyone. Farming communities constantly receive courses on organic farming practices and other courses that are valuable for their communities. Some receive organic agriculture training in their native Awajun dialect, helping preserve their identity and their language.
This ensures everyone is aware of what is needed to protect the environment and to make sure the cacao will pass the yearly organic certification audit. It’s our aim to preserve the communities, the land, and the culture that provides us with the gift of cacao.
Approximately 690 million people worldwide go to bed hungry each night. Small farmers, herders, and fishermen produce about 70% of the global food supply, yet poverty and hunger are one of the biggest challenges among rural populations.
To help tackle this problem, we have partnered with an incredible not-for-profit organisation - Project Peru, which supports children in refuge and extreme poverty in the shanty towns of Lima, Peru, the country from which we source this products.
A percentage of all cacao purchased goes to children in refuge in Peru with our partnership with Project Peru.
