A Simple Guide to Preparing Ceremonial Cacao
step 1
Boil the kettle and let it sit while you make your cacao. You want the water to be hot, not boiling.
step 2
Put 20g of shaved ceremonial cacao into your blender with 80-120ml milk of your choice.
step 3
Add your sweetener of choice to taste. We love using honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar or stevia.
step 4
Add 100-150ml of hot water.Then blend for 10s or until frothy.

I’m not one to usually leave a review but I felt like I need rave about it after had the rest blend last night. I’ve tried a few “evening hot chocolates” and the is by far the best regarding taste, smell, texture, creaminess and I actually felt relaxed. Felt very rested the next day and of course ready for my morning cacao. Regretting not buying the rise blend.

i struggle with falling asleep and i have been using Rest for about 3 weeks and noticed a difference right away.
it have a nice flavor and i dont add any honey to sweeten. Nice on its own.

For me, I didn't enjoy the altered taste to my cacao when thos was added. I put Rest Vital Blend in my drink about 7pm, and my mind stayed active all night. I like how it is in a tin, but appears to be in nice packaging.
Cacao Collective4 hours agoHey Dawn, we're sorry to hear it wasn't your most favourite experience. It can take 3-7 days to truly notice a different, baring in mind how you get ready for sleep can also impact how you feel.
As everyone is different, we would recommend trialling it a couple of ways that might help improve the experience:
Try drinking it a little earlier in the evening
As it does have a few ingredients, the flavour will be different to your normal cacao, but if you play around with the recipe you might find a more suited taste - add a little less blend or you could even add some cinnamon to offset it.
You can add the blend to any other beverage of your choice too
