Adaptogenic Cacao Bliss Balls Recipe

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Makes: 12-15 balls

Storage: 2 weeks in fridge, 3 months in freezer


Ingredients:

• 1 cup (200g) medjool dates, pitted

• 1 cup (120g) raw pistachios

• 2 tbsp cacao powder

• 2 tbsp nut butter 

• 1/4 cup Cacao Collective ceremonial cacao

• 1 tbsp maca powder

• 1 tsp ashwagandha or 1tsp Vital REST blend

• Pinch of Himalayan salt

• Optional: 1 scoop (30g) collagen peptides

• Optional coating: extra crushed pistachios or cacao


Method:


1. Blend Ingredients:

   • Process pistachios until roughly chopped

   • Add remaining ingredients except nut butter

   • Pulse until mixture comes together

   • Add nut butter 

   • If too dry, add 1-2 tbsp water

   • If too wet, add extra pistachios


2. Shape the balls:

   • Roll mixture into golf-ball sized balls 

   • Put in the freezer to set for 30min
  
3. Roll in cacao:
 
  • Melt 1/4 cup of cacao (double boiler method) and coat the balls 

  • Store in an airtight container

  • Option to add sweetener to the cacao

• If dates aren't soft, soak in warm water for 10 minutes

• Keep a batch in your freezer for emergency stress support
